District Wide Digital Resources
Roosevelt Digital Resources
The following information is provided for parents to learn more about the various digital literature resources that are provided by Roosevelt Elementary School, as well as those provided by Livonia Public Schools (above). Included for each resource is:
- name of the resource;
- which grade levels have access;
- how the materials are selected; and
- how parents can access the resource (usually through the students' account).
For most of the resources, content is organized into categories based on a range of grade levels. For example, Grades K-4 or Grades K-6. Parents are encouraged to review these resources with their students.
Definitions:
- Grade Level Availability identifies which grades have access to the resource.
- Grade Band Limited Access means the resource limits a student's access to materials within a specified grade level, such as K-4, 5-6, K-6, etc.

TrueFlix is a multimedia platform by Scholastic that provides supplemental learning opportunities to support science and social studies curriculum for grades 3 and up. Access to TrueFlix is set up by the Media Specialist and can be found in the Library Media Center section of the Roosevelt website under Symbaloo links and Portals. This collection of resources is curated by the educational experts at Scholastic. Parents should ask their student or their student’s teacher about how to access the TrueFlix content.

“Raz-Kids is an award-winning teaching product that provides comprehensive leveled reading resources for students. With hundreds of eBooks offered at 29 different levels of reading difficulty, it's easy to put the right content in every student's hands.” – Learning A-Z Website. This collection of resources is curated by the educational experts at Learning A-Z. Parents should ask their student or their student’s teacher about how to access Raz-Kids online.

Story Online is a free online resource of videos featuring celebrities reading children's books aloud. The grade level of the books read range from kindergarten to 4th grade with most books falling in the K-2 levels. Story Online does not require an account and can be accessed at https://storylineonline.net/ or can be found in the Library Media Center section of the Roosevelt website under Symbaloo links and Portals.

Ryan Lagod and Craig Tovey are two family-friendly comedians that read children’s books aloud with silly voices, big emotions and sometimes improvised songs! New book every week. The grade level of books read range from kindergarten to 4th grade with most books falling in the K-2 levels.
