Good morning Roosevelt families,

As a reminder tonight is Curriculum Night for grades k-4.  This is a critical opportunity to meet your child's teacher and learn all about their classroom. Tonight you will hear from your child's teacher, understand the way their classroom will operate and build those relationships with your child's teacher.   The Roosevelt PTA will also have a table where you can touch base with our leadership team from the PTA.  Please note parent-teacher conferences that take place in mid-October will have an electronic sign up this year.  More details to follow in the coming weeks.

See below for tonight's schedule.

·       Kindergarten presentation in the LMC at 5:15 p.m.

·       Grades 1-4 present in their classrooms.

o    Grade 1-2 at 6:30 p.m.

o    Grades 3-4 at 7:15 p.m.

Curriculum Night is for adults only.  Please have an adult member of your family attend.

If for some reason child-care issues would prevent you from attending, then you may drop your Roosevelt aged child off at the gym prior to heading to your curriculum presentation.  Parents will need to pick them up at the gym as well after their presentation is complete.

We are off to a positive start!  I have re-attached the arrival/dismissal map as a reminder of where drop off and pick up locations take place.  Please recall that you should be at your child's bus stop 7-10 minutes early and be prepared for 7-10 minute delays coming home this first week of school.  Routes are being adjusted, bus drivers are reviewing rules of bus safety, and there is still road construction in many local areas that can slow down transportation.  Thank you for your patience.

See you tonight!

Mr. Green
