Good morning Roosevelt Families,

This week is a short week of school at Roosevelt Elementary.  This e-blast will cover the next two weeks of school.  If anything additional comes up that is of significant importance I will email the community as applicable.

Congratulations to the Franklin Patriot varsity football team.  They have advanced to the Division 2 State Football Championship.  They will take on Warren DeLaSalle this Friday.  What an accomplishment for our community!  Did you know that many players on the Franklin Patriot football team attended Roosevelt Elementary?

A shout out as well to the various other adults and students who have helped Franklin reach this point such as parents, coaches, cheerleading and pom-pon members, and the marching band.  A true team effort!  Boys and Girls are encouraged to wear, RED, WHITE, and BLUE to school on Tuesday to show their support.

An article about their victory can be found at Franklin Patriot Football .

As you know we will have several days off of school.  The expectation is boys and girls who have i-Ready licenses spend 10-15 minutes daily on their i-Ready instruction each day.

Thank you for your generous donations to the Livonia Goodfellows.  Big thanks to Mrs. Martz for working with boys and girls to organize and count the donations.  We will have an announcement of the top fund raising class sometime in the next few days.

The PTA Bounce It Up takes place this week on Tuesday, November 21.  Visit PTA Bounce It Up for event details.
